Felix Daniel Rotaru
Fine String Instruments In The Italian Tradition

In recent years, notable musicians decided to purchase instruments from me. Most of them own outstanding italian instruments such as Stradivari, Guarneri, Ruggieri, Montagnana, Storioni, Grancino, Amati, and similar.

Here are some of them:

Corina Belcea – leader and first violin of the Belcea Quartet

Krzysztof Khorzelsky – viola, Belcea Quartet

Antoine Lederlin – Cello, Belcea Quartet

Eugen Tichindelean – Solist, Concertmaster of the Copenhagen Philarmonic

Adelina Oprean – solist, teacher at the Basel Conservatory

Cristian Florea – Solist, conductor (Spain / Moldova)

Maria Florea – Solist, Chamber Musician

Dear Felix…BRAVO! I was not expecting so much from the instrument at the very begginning of its existence. I am very impressed, you did a great job!

Krzysztof Chorzelsky  –  Belcea Quartet / Guildhall School London

The violin is great; sounds open and warm. I play it regularly alongside my Storioni instrument, they complete eachother lovely.

Adelina Oprean –  Basel Conservatory

Dear Mr. Rotaru, thank you for the wonderful violin you crafted. It is a brilliant, truly solistical instrument, with rich, deep colours of sound. It is also remarcably easy to play and has a beautiful and very clear tune. It helps me express all musical emotions with great ease, in all registers. A truly complete instrument!
